Princess Aurora is born with great beauty and has a wonderful christening, but the evil fairy Carabosse is not invited by the King.
When she finds out she seeks revenge and curses the Princess by pricking her finger on a spinning wheel and Aurora falls into an endless sleep that only true loves kiss can break.
Can Nurse Dotty and Muddles help Aurora and find her true love before it's too late?

John-Robert Partridge
John-Robert is delighted to be returning to the Cidermill this Christmas as his alter ego Dame Dotty.
Dotty has been terrorising all the dads in the audiences for four years at the Cidermill in Beauty and the Beast, Jack and the Beanstalk and Robin Hood.
John-Roberts other credits include: The Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Chorus in Henry V, Erik in The Phantom of the Opera, Long John Silver in Treasure Island and Toad in the Wind in the Willows (The Attic Theatre). Queen Grizelda in Snow White, Trinculo in Twelfth Night, Fancourt Babberly in Charley’s Aunt and Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest (Worcester Rep), Charles Marlow in She Stoops to Conquer (Here to There Productions).
John is the new Artistic Director of The Rother Street Arts House in Stratford upon Avon alongside his continued work with Tread the Boards Theatre Company.
John-Robert would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a special mention to his wife Catherine and daughters Alex and Éireann for their constant love and support.
George Ormerod
George is delighted to be returning to the Cidermill Theatre with Tread The Boards having previously played the roles of ‘Simple Simon’ in their production of ‘Jack and The Beanstalk’ in 2023 and ‘Silly Willy in ‘Robin Hood’ in last year.
George attended the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama for 3 years, graduating in 2021.
Abigail Drennan
Abigail is delighted to be back for her fourth year at The Cidermill Theatre, and she’s stepping into her Villain Era for Sleeping Beauty. She’s also back as Musical Director, with all the catchy Panto cheesiness. She hopes you enjoy this year’s Pantomime!

Rosie Coles
Rosie is thrilled to be spending Christmas at the Cidermill this year, but she’s even more excited to spend the whole time sleeping. It’s a tough role but someone’s got to do it!

Jon Kerr
Jon is very excited to be back at The Cidermill Theatre for another pantomime after playing the Sheriff in last year’s Robin Hood. After a year of being so serious in Shakespeare’s Henry V at The Attic Theatre, Wars of the Roses Live at Warwick Castle, Horsepower Fury at HOYS and various fight/stunt jobs to be released in 2026, what better way to spend the Christmas period?
Emily Tietz
Emily is very excited to bring Fairy Good to life this Christmas!
Her other pantomime credits with Tread the Boards include; Maid Marion in Robin Hood, Fairy Bowbells in Dick Whittington and Fairy Good in Sleeping Beauty.
Emily's most recent credits include; Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at The Attic Theatre and Amy March in Little Women at The Attic Theatre. Emily is thrilled to be bringing some sparkle and magic to the stage and to be performing at the Cidermill Theatre for the first time! She hopes you enjoy the show!
Mark Carey
Mark Carey trained at the Central School and has been an actor and writer for over forty years.
He has appeared in many theatres up and down the country, on tour and in the west end. TV appearances include "Luther" "Seaview" and "Allo allo". Many Radio plays both as writer and actor, including "The Archers" (six different characters!) Mark was part of the National Theatre company for three years.
Mark is very excited to play the second King who lives in Gloucestershire and to be treading the boards at the wonderful Cidermill, his local Theatre.
