Orchestra da Camera - An Evening with Haydn & Mozart

Orchestra da Camera, directed by Tony Ayres, are pleased to be returning to the Cidermill Theatre after a successful concert of Music For Strings last October.

Based in the Midlands, the orchestra can claim to be one of the longest established professional chamber orchestras in the UK, having been founded in 1957.

This year we present a delightful programme of music by Haydn and Mozart with the addition of the Minuet by Boccherini, famously used in the Ealing comedy film The Ladykillers.

We are thrilled to welcome international soloist Cecilia Xi, who joins us to play Mozart’s Piano Concerto no. 9 in Eb.
