OdaC has a close connection to the area, as it was jointly founded by Brian Priestman, who became Director of Music at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (1960-63), and Kenneth Page (violin), who became joint Leader of the Orchestra, and subsequently the Musical Director.
During its distinguished history OdaC has performed throughout the country and abroad, with eminent soloists and conductors, including Bryn Terfel, Nigel Kennedy, John Rutter, Emma Johnson, Craig Ogden and Tasmin Little, to name but a few. OdaC have also produced a series of recordings on the Meridian Label.
