Das Rheingold is the first instalment of Der Ring des Nibelungen, Wagner's epic tale of gods, giants and heroes, and their struggles for power. The 2024 Longborough Ring was conducted by Longborough's Music Director and "veteran Wagnerian" (Sunday Times) Anthony Negus and directed by Amy Lane.
