The Black Box Studio is our smallest performance space making it the perfect location for small intimate performances.
About the Space
The Black box studio has the capacity for 32 guests. 2 rows of 12 theatre seats are available for hire to create the perfect intimate theatre experience.
With a small performance space suitable for up to 8 people, the Black Box is ideal for poetry readings, comedy nights, small plays, live acoustic sets, video productions, lectures, dance shows, and more. It is also a great dance and drama rehearsal space.
The space features black stage curtains on all sides of the room, an overhead lighting grid, house lights, a discrete flown PA system with Bluetooth connectivity, a laser projector, and an electric roll-out projector screen. The room also has a row of windows to allow natural light to enter, or the curtains can be drawn to blackout the room.
Staging hire is available upon request subject to an additional fee.
